What is treated:

Back pain (lumbago) with or without radiating pain into the legs, caused by disc disorders and spinal osteoarthritis.

What can be done:

Endoscopic, minimally invasive spinal procedures using keyhole technique for herniated discs and spinal canal stenosis.
The keyhole technique results in minimal tissue trauma, as the endoscope is guided through muscles and ligaments in a way similar to an injection needle, without significantly cutting through them. Depending on the approach, the "natural openings" of the spine are used and slightly widened if necessary. This preserves muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
Like in an arthroscopy, only a small incision of a few millimeters is required. The endoscope’s optics can clearly display all anatomical structures in the surgical area.
